Photo of April N before starting the San Jose Rock’n’Roll Half Marathon by a family member. This was April’s first half marathon and since then, she has completed the Morgan Hill Half, too! Go April!

WOW Fall Training will focus on 10K speed and the CIM Relay while establishing a base for the upcoming Oakland Running Festival Races in March 2011.

Wednesday, Every Week

1. New time! 6:30 – 7:30 AM – SF Women Runners’ Speed Training Track Workouts – Kezar Track in SF every Wednesday. Led by Coach Stephanie.

2. 8am – 10am – Coach Stephanie available for Personal Training Sessions. Meet at Kezar Stadium. Contact her at

3. 6:30pm – 7:30pm – Piedmont track workouts every Wednesday evening. Join us! – Piedmont High School Track near 301 Wildwood Avenue.

7am – 10am – Coach Stephanie Available for Personal Training Sessions. Contact her at

Saturday, November 13, 8:00 Sawyer Camp – Join Coach Stephanie in a walking workout where we will do 30 seconds hard walking with 1 1/2 minutes recovery walk.. Coach Stephanie will lead this 30 minute trial workout.

We will also offer running and run/walk for those who are already doing these activities for our normal 60 – 90 minute work out.

Sunday, November 14, 8:00am ’til 10:00 – Inspiration Point, Berkeley . Led by Lauren G and other WOW Staff. Run, Walk, Run/Walk 60 – 90 minutes.

Note: If you are training for CIM Relay you should be doing close to 90 minutes at a fast clip.
